Depends on how far you swerve to get 'em. If all 4 tires leave the road its an extra 100 points. If it's in your neighbors front yard it's 500 and if the neighbor doesn't like you very much then its 1000.

but this is great.i had been to other forums and they always turn out
one guy ragging on another.fowl words being used,but everybody here
seems to really want to help,inform,and just talk about the hunt

check out www. pyramydair.com they have just about every pellet gun you
could want. benjamin has just released a PCP gun with pump [i think] for a round 400 dollars.
if its typical benjamin quality it is well worth it. the plain jane BEN.pumps are excellent rifles and will last a lifetime.if you plan to hunt with it you need .22 or bigger to quickly take game,
.177 wil work and i have taken even up to large coons with a mendoza rm377 rifle,but not as cleanly than with the .22.

shoot straight.kill clean.

haha, well i do love squirrel hunting, but as far as toys i aint a spoiled rich boy, im a humble state employee...most of the guns shown were bought, carefully, used and i paid low dollar, i got the comanche 410 for $135.00, and the classic S&W for $150.00 WHICH WAS A STEAL, I love guns and hunting and im a more utility type guy then a fancy whistles and bells guy. I get some good deals by keeping my eyes open, then if i see a gun somewhere, i usually go online n do some in depth research on it price and review wise and base a purchase on that.Heres a couple of reviews that sold me on the comanche 410:

I recently bought one of them as a gift for a friend. I did a brief test before turning it over to the new owner. The .45 Colt loads were not very accurate, 5-6" groups at 25 yards. But with 3" .410s, what a hoot! The full choke tube seems pretty much the equal of a full size .410 long gun, effective to 25 yards, maybe 30. With the .45 Colt tube installed the patterns were larger but also more even and that should take game reliable to 20 yards. The shot patterns were MUCH better than from the T/C Contender barrel I had years ago, which I attribute to the very narrow and shallow rifling grooves. I turned it over to my friend and he took eight or ten grouse with it last fall, he just loves it, great truck gun for 150 bucks!

Super Comanche .410...

the ugly, crude Super Comanche .45Colt/.410 made by Lasserre,SA....can't speak for the same gun labeled Rexio....haven't, and will not, do .45 Colts, as it was bought hoping it worked better than most .410 pistols which seem to limited to 12 feet range or less....this one has a rifled barrel, which generally means blown patterns like all the rest....but it comes equipped with an externally threaded straight-rifled wad grabbing/stripping choke tube.....folks, this is a real shotgun....
In short, the ugly Super Comanche shoots as good or better than any .410 I've owned....
a handfull of really experienced regulars were at the range today, and all were VERY impressed and intrigued with what they saw...I'll go as far as to say several were going to buy one....this gun hammers stuff....it rolls empty 12ga boxes, gallon milk jugs and tin cans with authority at a full 25yds, moves them like a 12ga, only the pattern isn't as large diameter...
sights well regulated for the shotloads, so no guessing....at a measured 11yds, it puts 100% of the pellets into a 13" circle, 99% inside 10"....at 25yds it puts nearly 100% inside a 20" circle, the bulk of them in a 13" dense core with only silver-dollar sized gaps....trigger pull is heavy, but who cares with a shotgun? Clean release, just a bit stout....
whether 2.5" 1300fps 1/2oz #8 target loads, or 3" 1135fps 11/16th oz #7.5 field loads, patterns remained consistant, only denser with the field loads.....recoil was progressive, on par with NMBH .45Colt standard loads for the target stuff, the ROA with maximum ball loads equiv. to the field loads......fun stuff, in other words....
but very effective....Just to be clear, I bought it for hunting and pest control (picture a flashlight in one hand and the gun in the other), living in a very undeveloped rural setting, and this gun is definitely up to typical max .410 ranges of 25-30yds...I'm quite sure it will cleanly harvest rabbit and squirrel at such ranges, and would ruin a crow's day at 30yds....never thought I'd say this about a .410 handgun, but you need to let game get further away than 10-15yds if you intend to eat what you shoot....
A few other details of the gun...it's 100% steel aside from grips and forearm....looks to be all cast aside from the barrel tube and choke tubes (a smooth one for .45 Colt)....the frame/grip area/trigger guard are a single casting, likewise the chamber/rear sight mount into which the barrel is sleeved, even the extra beefy adjustable sights and blades....the grip panels and forearm are solid black nylon with a few shallow lightening holes/divots.....I ditched the heavy forearm, it being attached by a single screw to a brazed on barrel stud....the gun is about 1/2-3/4" longer than a 7.5"bbl SAA, and drops right in a Colt holster (minus the forearm, anyhow), but extra length might not let a top flap close....it's about 7/8ths" thick, and handles essentially like a Colt 1861....the grip/hammer/trigger are very Rugerish....hammer and bolt springs are coil...
If you ever wanted a short barreled shotgun of Game Getter usefulness, you might look at this one....

I don't really squirrel hunt that much. I do chase a few fox squirrels when I visit my grandma in western VA.

Second, sorry Hoskins, I think Trex Tom just became my new squirrel hero. His tree rat killers are way too cool!!!!!!!!!

very cool BB, ive taken squirrels, rabbit n rat with my powerline 1000, i dont really like the gun though, so im thinking of getting a .22 cal., maybe a benjamin. any suggestions?

got a good snow here in oklahoma this week and got out and did a little
hunting for bushytails.i use a crosman custom shop2240.super quite
and very little damage to the meat. have added a heavy piston spring
and a power adjuster with a 10 inch barrel i get about 600fps with a .22...14.5 grain pellet, more than enough to take a tree rat at 30 yards. have also taken several rabbits over my beagles with this gun.

Awesome pistoly!!! 410 is a great round for small game for sure! No problem with this cat for using a shotgun on anything!!!! If it gets the job done...That's all that matters!!! I've yet to take squirrel with the 450 (Not saying it won't happen) But..I like a little more left of em them fuzz!

no shotgun scorn here!!..i grew up with a single shot 410 shotgun hunting snowshoe hare, squirrels, woodchucks, etc....that was the happiest day of my life when i got that gun...i also use a 410 single shot pistol, works awesome!...its harder n hardr to shoot with a .22 etc, up in trees due to population. i like to take my 22 rifle or pistol and the 410 pistol, ground they get the bullet, up in trees they get the shot. the best of both worlds is one of the combo guns with a rife and shotgun barrel.

Nice shooter T. Tom....and squirrel.

My girl's Mom has that same pistol and killed 7 wild dogs with it at their farm not too long ago. One of them was about a 75 yard running shot. That gun can shoot. I verified the kills cuz I had to go get them throw out...

& Hoskins, yeah, we'll never ridicule anyone here for someone's choice of weaponry...LOL Ole Blazin270 uses a daggum .450 big bore for whitetails and everyone is jealous of it... As OZ likes to say, "You can never kill something TOO dead..."

This year is the first year that I've hunted squirrel religously in a LONG time. Started early in the year using a Mossberge 835 (12 ga), then to Moss 500 (20ga), and then to a single shot NEF (20ga). Around October, I used a .22lr for the first time and killed 5! I now own a Marlin 917V 17HMR. I'll be using a mix of shotgun, 22, and 17 next year in my squirrel hunting ventures! Glad to see you folks don't SCORN others for using a shotgun!!!!! Heck, that's all I had to use growing up. My 20ga NEF single shot w a modified choke was all I had growing up and used it for squirrel, grouse, rabbit, songbird, stray cat, beer cans, etc................. LOL

I primarily focus on whitetail during early season but if I tag a buck and there's still time left I head out for some squirrels. I prefer the .22 but I don't always hold back if I happen to have a shotgun in my hands.

I usually do a couple times a year, before deer season comes in. It doubles as my pre-scouting for deer season. Plus, it's the first time of year that I can head out and KILL SUMTHIN'!! I usually have a very itchy finger around this time each year!
