We hunt them year round down here too. A lot of my buddies are big into running dogs for them, which is a heck of a lot of fun. It gets pretty sporty too with them big boars.

One tip though on the bread (if you don't know already).... Go to the grocery store and ask the manager when they get rid of their bread from the week before. When I used to raise hogs, I'd go every Sunday and pay $5 for about 300+ loaves of bread from the week before, it would feed them suckers for weeks. Hell, some of it was still pretty fresh too.

I've yet to shoot a hog. There was a few around here but I hear they've been taken care of. Word has it someone let a few loose.

Not really. Every once in a while you will hear someone say they saw a hog around here. Probably just somebody's pet that got out. They do have a bunch of hogs in East TN though.

Bow, Rifle, shotgun,club.Whatever it takes.
I am going to try bow and rifle,it just depends on which stand my cousin wants to hunt and I will decide based upon that.I am starting a feed program on one of my leases just for bow.Maybe next week or so I will have a few pics from that.

NO YOU DON'T THEY REPRODUCE LIKE RATS.Thy also help run deer off your property.You have to kill or trap 75% of the population just to keep them in check.But I am still going to have fun killing these for my cousin.

We put out 6 trashcans full of bakery bait Saturday.My cousin has some trail cam pics to post.We are going to start hitting his place here in a couple of weeks.The hogs are in there good.A lot of midday pics.
