I seen the same pics in an email from my wifes friend that said it was from Ark. I copyed and pasted this from that email.
No lions in Arkansas ?????? Check this kitty out!

This lion was hit between Prescott and Ashfork Arkansas, by a car. Fish and Game had to come and put him down. He charged at the Fish and Game guy in the process. Look at his PAWS!.

Like a lot of areas east of the mississippi, there are always those who say they saw a lion. As for me, I'll believe it when i see it with my own eyes.

I have to be a bit skeptical. The top picture looks a wee-bit.....photoshopped.

Wow!!!!

Could be just a rumor, however, in that book I read, "The Politically Incorrect Guide To Hunting" it talked and gave confirmed accounts of cougar sightings/attacks coming east of the Mississippi River. That's a lionness though, so I imagine that could just be someone's pet that got out.

Either way, that's a big kitty!
