I'm sorry it took so long to get you an answer,I've been really busy,and didn't even see the Question. I couldn't give you an exact age on that bird,one thing is his beard was only 10 inches,but it was as thick as a paint brush. I also found a beard tore out of another bird/Tom,and even saw the Tom minus his beard so you can bet he was top Dog.
I had a bad morning that day,and moved to a different spot and started calling,He was a long ways away,but steady calling every time he gobbled kept him coming on a string the long way for about a mile,It also brought in a Bob-Cat that dropped into a draw next to me and came across a hen that was nested up,I hate to see things like that happen,but if he didn't find that hen,I would of had to blast him,I had Tags,but was after that tom,when I first seen him,it was all he could do to waddle That was a good sign,I only let him get with-in 40 yards of me not knowing what that Bob-Cat may do.
This area had more Acorns every where,more than I've ever seen,I'm sure this played a big role to the size of this guy and his spurs,If I was a guessing man I would say at least 5 Years +.
Here are a few more pics for you to make the call.

This is the fan next to a smaller one I got the first week of the season,the big one scored 74 with the NWTF the other one with a 9 & 1/2 in beard and close to 1 inch spurs scored a little over 56 I think??

The last three pics are of the first one I got and his fan,You can see his Fan has been beaten a bit more,I'd say he was about 3-4 tops,more than likely 3. Hope that helps.

Those probably are the longest spurs that I've seen. Pretty impressive.
How old do you think that bird was?

This is the biggest set of Hooks this hunter has got to date,a little over 3 inches between the both sides.
