Look, I live in Illinois and we have some big deer here. But anything running 300 pounds is called a cow and it go moo! and that is no lie.

Me thinks someone needs to check the accuracy of their weighing device!

Had her on a scale. Just over 300. We dont weigh them all just the really big ones.

Question answered. I read onto the next page to find out where you took her at. Congrats! I was born and raised in Ohio. There are some real " Hosses" in Ohio deer country. My favorite hunting state! Wallhangers Galore!!!

Just outside of Perrysburg , Ohio.. Not much hunting pressure on the deer around there. They get big and old.

No meat from her. That was three seasons ago. I did have to cook her in a crock pot for 18 hours to make the meat tender. LOL

I shot her with a 12 gauge slug at 70 yards. Good heart shot... she went down within 40 yards after the shot.
