been awhile for me too, but here's a little taste of the 2008 gun season in wisconsin.
my little bro got his first buck, i got a nice fat heifer, my dad got a tiny little nubby, and my cousin got her first buck, a solid 7 pointer.

My 9 year old daughter missed this deer on 11/26, so we went back on 11/28 to "try" and get him again. He showed up in the field, but wanted me to shoot "her" deer for her!! She said she likes being my look out, cause she can't miss that way!!!!!!!

I also killed 2 does with no pics. First on 11/04 and the second on 11/05

can anyone give me an idea on the ages of these deer the ages on these deer? We are located in southeast texas between houston and beaumont. I know that the head shot of the grey colored dark heavy horned 10 point is probably 5 1/2 or older probably.

My little Iowa dink buck shot back on Nov. 18th 2007. Shot him at 40yds with a Bear The TRUTH and Rocket Sidewinder 100gr broadheads on Beman MFX 400 shafts. He made it maybe 60yds before piling up.

07' Florida public land 4.5 yr old 6 point. If you look closely at the pic he had a fork on his left brow tine that didn't quite make it as a scoreable point, and another short point on his right main beam....another year older with a little extra length on those two points, and he would have made the 100" minimum for the Florida buck registry. He narrowly missed it as a scorable 6 point.

It was hot and rainy and I was soaked to the bone by the time I got him out of the swamp. I hunt in boardshorts during our archery season.

06' another public land buck. He ran into the woods and a NO HUNTING zone after the shot. The next morning (Thanksgiving), I took my dog who had never tracked a deer before...the mutt found him within minutes.
