Thanks guys............ and to all that voted for my pic! The credit goes to the camera man though, Romer did a great job with the pics, especially having to manage in the pitch dark like it was!

I am very happy with my buck this year, as it is my biggest to date, and it has a sweet kicker point....... and I like stickers! This is my first buck to ever have one. Another credit out to Romer, this deer came off his family property.... thanks buddy!

And you are definitely right Adam, I can't wait to get him home where he belongs......... ON THE WALL!!

I "might" have him back as soon as first of May........ that would be AWESOME! He only does deer and turkey for customers. So he tries to have the deer done before the spring turkeys start rolling in! He does mount some other animals, but usually just for friends. As he said he would mount me a coyote, which I do want.... and he said he would hook me up!

A few real nice deer, very respectable in anyone's book.
Even though I liked the story about 'swimming for a buck', it was a very tough choice but I had to vote for Ernie's photo/buck.
Great character with the drop tine, high and wide rack with a 'Roman nose' but the photo has a quality the others didn't capture! very crisp & clear and I like night-shots as that is most times when you recover a big buck. Not much blood in the shot and he is as low as he can go (sitting) and holding the bucks head at the best angle. He also gets most of the deer and himself in the shot...but I think maybe Mike gets credit for taking the photo.

I went with INbowhunter's 8 point. I thought it was a great typical frame, height, width, thickness. A great representation of a "typical 8". I liked everyones, looked like you guys all enjoyed a great year. Congratulations to all.

Although there was a lot of nice deer kille dhtis year, and i have seen a couple of albinos before...just was not allowed to shoot them, I had to vote for BoBows Buck.

His buck has a lot of character with a real good rack.

By the way, I have not voted yet.......................

Would it be wrong of me to vote for a buck because of the story behind it? How it all came about, and what it meant to the individual?

Or should I vote on the one that I think looks the best (best framed pic, my favorite rack characteristics, scenery, smile of the hunter, etc)??

Define BEST BUCK for me........ what am I voting on exactly?

Everyone posted really good bucks that I would be very proud of, I guess if I have to pick one, it's Ernie's buck.

I agree, we had a great season on the forums this year with a lot of good bucks taken. It's a very tough decision but I voted for INBowhunter's albino buck just because of how unique it is. You don't see too many of those.

First off.. All you guys had great bucks no matter what, They're all consider trophys in my book! But I gotta give my vote to Bowbo/Ernie for the kicker point on his trophy, I am partial to them freaky lookin racks!

And If there was a poll for the most execution style shot...Cracker wins it!!
