That's funny! That reminded me what had happened to me last year, turkey30. It happened to a buddy of mine and me, we both were so hot at Roberds Lake last year. Our other buddy was struggling so bad, he wanted to catch fish. He decided to go outside and get his beer inside his truck. A buddy of mine figured our other buddy and I have almost similar rod and reel, he told me to put my rod and reel over to our other buddy's hole which I ended up catching a nice 14" crappie. LOL! Our other buddy screamed his lungs out and got overly excited. Until we both told him that he stole my rod and reel cuz it's got my initials on it. Our other buddy ended up swearing at himself for not paying attention to the initials of rod and reels we all marked on. <img align="absmiddle" src="https://www.mossyoak.com/forum/Skins/MOP/Images/EmotIcons/Tongue.gif" border="0" title="Tongue"><br><br>I've icefished St. Olaf recently in the winter. What throws me off is the size of crappies. Makes me go <img align="absmiddle" src="https://www.mossyoak.com/forum/Skins/MOP/Images/EmotIcons/Doze.gif" border="0" title="Doze"> Too dang small! Not something I'm used to catching up in Faribault area lakes such as Roberds and Mazaska. Guess I will have to get used to the size of crappies at St. Olaf. Heck, I dig Freeborn Lake. A lot of perch. When the day falls right, HUGE perch. Some days, too many small ones! Me and my bro were catching them all day long while our friend had nothing. He left the ice house to go to the bathroom and we reeled his line up really fast and hooked one of the fish we caught on his line and dropped it back he came in screaming oh man i got one and reeled it up.
