Get a gas powered one, Don't screw around with them electric one's. I got an old harley gas powered one that gets severely beat on the back 50 and it will climb just about any hill you want. Electric cart = Flat terrian! You listenin now?

Yep! The people that bought it were happy....and I made 100 bucks so.....

I called Robin''s uncle last night about his - buit he said it is underpowered for what I want to do.....so...the search continues...I do have a lead locally though.

here you go liftkit 400-500 covers about 100.buggiesunlimited.com has a bunch of stuff that can help but I didn't get the seat and roof cover from them.Don't recall where I got those.

Yeah...I wanted this thing to work too....

BUT......all is not lost. I made $$$ on it..

I am still looking around for a good deal...and I just found out my Wife's Aunt's husband - Uncle Tom - has a cart that runs for $1000.....

Thanks guys...I am doing alot of research on it...making sure it is worth putting money into.

It is a 1983.....got that off of the serial number plate... it is 25 years olf baby!

These carts are famous for frame rot in the area of the batteries - due to the corrosiveness... Mine has very, very little - it is quite solid - so the cart is sound.

I have been told to upgrade it to 48 volt for more power...Ok...seems easy enough. Honestly - it looks like I just need aone new battery and a charger....everything looks OK.

If it is worth fixing up and has decent power - it WILL be lifted! Since it is so old - there is only a 4 inch lift out there - but the lift, with aggressive mud tires and black rims is only $340!

Al - most of the ploaces I hunt are flat, or have logging trails through them - so this will work good for that - and it will have a winch in case...

Ya never now - it might make it to the Smackdown!

A friend of mine was given a cart older than you one you have, we didn't do anything but put a battery in it and painted it grey. We rode that thing everywhere, toted dead deer, ducks, rabbits, and most anything other animal we were hunting at the time. That was way before raised carts were even thought of. So don't think you have to raise it to go hunting!

Bingo Jason! I am gonna get one battery - hopefully a slightly used one locally - and I can charge them 2 at a time with my charger for now - and absolutley - a yard machine if nothing else. Which I could use.........
