My dad and I took a drive to the capital today about an hour and a half away to look at the remodeled/expanded scheels, and the place looks awesome. All kinds of duck and deer and moose and elk mounts and the state record typical whitetail full-body mount. Part of the reason we went down there was to see what we could get for our Beretta trap gun, that we THOUGHT was going to increase in value, but has only decreased. And a Remington Sportsman 48.

Anywho, I wanted to go along to see if they had any Stoeger Uplanders in 20 gauge. Lucky, they had ONE in the back. I got to looking at it, and my dad was also looking at a camo model 10/22, and we ended up trading our two guns for the 10/22 and Stoeger. So, the stoeger is going to be my pet gun that i'll use as for as much as possible, from turkeys to ducks.

Pics will be up soon.

Are you talking about the Scheels in Bismarck?

Where are you at? I live in Mandan. The new store is much better than the old rubbin' shoulders store!

Yup! Yeah, it is much better. Our one in Minot is also getting renovated and expanding, should be done in May. Should be awesome!

Good to see another North Dakotan though. Pretty isolated compared to the rest of the 'pack' around here. Do you go on the NoDak Outdoors forum?
