anybody out there ever try a conversion from rechargeable 12 volts to solar? i saw moultrie has a solar 12 volt is why i'm asking ,seems like you could get one and if the jack doesn't fit you could go to radio shack and and get a plug that would. just wondering if anybody out there had tried this before and what the results were.ANYBODY out there tried pairing a wildview with a moultrie solar panel?

The Moultrie Power Panel actually has a built in battery that all but bypasses the camera batteries. If you can get a minimum of 4 hours sunlight it will run indeffinately. Has to be used on the 2007 or newer cams. www.Huntbuzz.com has a goog FAQ for these cameras and accessories

+1 on the Moultrie solar panels. I have two and love them. I can set them out for months at a time and not worry about battery life. Well worth the money!
