Smack Down ( Spring 08' )
Open'n day here in OK 4-6-08.
I called in two jakes 16 & 17 pounds 3" & 4 1/2" Beards.
1/8" & 1/4" spurs.




4-7-08
6" beard 3/4" spurs Weight ?

4-15-08
22 pounds 1" & 1 1/16" Spurs 10 1/2" beard

4-29-08
23.6 pounds 1" spurs 11"beard





I was in the woods 7 times this spring,I got 2 & called the rest in for friends.
May 5th & 6th was a bust,I had turkeys all around & still could not seal the deal.
Congratulation to Ya'all on some fine Turkeys.
    
Either: Hunt or go sit in the Truck.

Here is a picture of my opening day PA spring gobbler. He weighed in at 23 pounds. Had a 9 1/2 inch beard and 1 1/4 inch spurs.

Only problem was when I shot him he did an actual flip backwards and landed right on his tail fan. So needless to say 4 of his tail feathers fell out. But I didn't care!
