I'm not to far away let me know what wkend and I'll try to be there. When I did mine, I buried 4' and used 1/2 a 4" cat block in the bottom of the hole and used foundation tar on the posts. Its been 7 yrs so still to early to tell. We did the same in Long Lake at camp 20 yrs ago and still going strong. Let me know when
