have any of you guys tried any of the new breathable waders yet , I hunted evryday this past year in a new set of hodgman breathable waders and I doubt I'll ever wear neo's again . There is no restriction in these waders , plenty of room to move around , very , very comfortable , and if you have a long walk in to your spot , you won't have a raging sweat worked up , Yall should try them , you'll love 'em .

When 90% of the ducks are killed by 10% of the hunters , It ain't luck..

Hey sprig how cold does it get where yo live? Here in n eastern california we hunt alot in teens and dont think the breathables would be a good choice. I do want to buy a pair for the early season or when we have to walk real far.

I have a pair of breathables that I wear trout fishing. Haven't wore them hunting because they are solid tan. Our early season is only 4 days long in October so most of the time I wear hip boots. Later on in Nov through Jan I wear my neoprenes because it gets cold here in NC.

actually I hunted a number of teen days here , and busted a little ice too. I wore a pair of browning genesis fleece pants underneath and it was surprisingly just as warm as neo and still less bulky than neoprene.

I have been wearing the Lacrosse Alpha Swampfox waders for sometime and I have to say I almost hate to put a pair of neo's on anymore. I have hunted in the teens wearing them and I can tell you if you wear some layers with a good pair of wader pants there isn't much I wouldn't wear my breathables in.

I only put my neo's on when I had to stand in waist deep water for a long time.

Here in South Florida, I have been known to hunt in camo shorts in the boat when its still in the 70s in December sometimes. I still use the 3mm Cabelas Neos but may invest in a pair of breathables this year.

I go cammando in Florida. It keeps people from hunting too close to me.
