Miss judged the distance and thought he was close enough...got a big miss under my belt!
I think 911 and HTH could be right, the 3 toms could care less about the decoys...didn't even flinch...I may go get me a B-Mobile or Pretty Bow today!
They walked around the middle of the filed, the boss hen and I would carry on and the toms would go nuts but they wouldn't come to the decoys...they broke strut and walked from left to right, I thought I had the distance at 35 yds or so let the *cough* shotgun go and they just flew off...I walked the shot and it was well over 40. The gun was great at 30 on paper so I thought I was good...anyway, no go. I know where to sit next time to get them walking into the field...how long should I leave them be? 1-3 days?
I got one pic of the set up and then the hens started showing up...

Went to Joes and got a B-Mobile! Blind is in route...
I'll be testing the B-Mobile in the AM...Emma is gonna have to name him, I'm betting it'll be Bob, thats what the turkey in the truck is...

B-Mobile is now fat something, I don't remember what she said...it was cute whatever it was.
Anyone sick if the rain yet?
Oh, got the ameristep...which I have a trade lined up with a guy for a matrix...we'll see if I like this one. The matrix also needs a bit of work.
Okay, its almost time to get ready and go this AM, Day 4...
