I'll let you know Jason, It'll be the first week of April.
To bad about the AZ tag Todd. As I understand they're not easy to come by. Neither is a PA elk tag. But then if you do draw you have a great oppertunity ahead of you!
Plans so far look like I'm heading out for the end of rifle season to catch the muley rut. I'm interested to see the final decision on a MT wolf season.

The area in Arizona that I apply for is Area 3A and 3C, both are trophy areas with 1% odds at getting drawn.
Those that do draw these tags usually do so in the 6th or 7th year of applying, so maybe next year I'll be sticking an elk in Southeastern Arizona.
Seems to take 10 years in PA to get one

Hopefully you'll be drawing a tag out there in the next couple years . One of these years I'd like to try one of the southern rocky states.
I know I probably shouldn't have but I stopped applying for the PA elk tag. The odds were just to thin.
