I find that my computer does not handle the Mossy Oak website at all well. I have *never* had this problem with another website. I have problems using both Firefox and Safari browsers. It seems that the video on the home page really "messes" stuff up. The home page is very unstable. IMO Mossy Oak's Homepage also terribly cluttered. The fan on my laptop has never gone on before. It did while I was trying to navigate this page.

I am using a two month old MacBook operating with OS X Leopard (10.5.2) It has 2 GB of memory. I use a DSL connection to the internet.

Any suggestions?

Tom

Welcome to Mossy Oak Tom!

Yeah, we all have been having problems with the site/forum. See the Good Morning Mossy Oak thread. Joe, the site admin, has been working on it, and hopefully before long it will be fixed. Please don't let this run you off...hang out with us and share some stories!!

Jason,

Thanks for the information. I tried the website with both my MacBook and my iMac; it was a "mess" with both. I was about to call my DSL provider.

I am relatively new to both Mossy Oak and to the forum but my hunting days go clear back to prior "designer" camo. I'm sure that you will not hold it against me that I have been rather fond of a traditional "log looking" camo and a "leaf looking" camo. I do have a ton of Mossy Oak New Break Up and was considering buying some Obsession for a turkey hunting trip down to the Ouachita Mountains in Arkansas next week.

Camo is sort of an "obsession" with me. I have it in nine different patterns. And still, I sometimes hunt in jeans and plaid shirt. Go figure.

Tom

Welcome to MO online...

Sorry to hear about your troubles with the Mac system. We'll be sure to pass things along to the forum admin who can then take the issues to the next level.

Like Jason said, we're having a bit of growing pains and hope to get all the critters worked out asap!

Thanks,
-NerdHick

Welcome to the site Tom. Sorry to hear about
the navigation troubles. Hope you hang around
and give it a chance..................................
even after you catch a little smack about your
non-Mossy camo choices. But don't let it
get to you, it's all in fun.
